I thought the class on Excel was very organized and easy to understand. It was
good to know how to use Excel for finances and charts. I thought the instructor
did a wonderful job answering questions and the class was small enough to go at
a good pace to keep the class moving. I would recommend Excel 1 and 2 to anyone
and to even go further. I learned a lot!

GE Capital Fleet Services paid for me to take the top of the line Catapult
classes in Access, PowerPoint, and Front Page but SPT was better and was less
than half the cost. I received the bones of the software to build on, gaining an
understanding of why and how to use it as a tool. Also what was helpful was
understanding the framework of all Microsoft software, similarities of programs.
Mike's (the instructor) experience in sales and finance helped this English
major feel comfortable with the terms and norms for financial reporting. In the
office we're thrown into the "water" and swimming is often frantic so the calm
pace of the classroom allowed for learning about tools at our fingertips
(keyboard strokes). I feel more computer literate and confident.

I so enjoyed the Publisher 1 and 2 class that I took. The instructor was
excellent - knowledgeable in the course content and also provided answers to
questions on other Microsoft tools. Also, Publisher classes opened my eyes to
the functionality of the tool; I came away with the basics as well as more
advanced capabilities of the tool. I will now be using Publisher for the
newsletters, postcards, flyers and brochures that we mail out on a regular
basis. I anxiously await the future Publisher classes offered through St. Paul
