Rod Staggs - Profile
Rod Staggs; Trainer at St. Paul Training, is a science and technology professonal experienced in information management. Employed at the University of Minnesota for twenty years he has been using Macintosh computers and Microsoft applications since the original Mac+ was introduced. As a member of a medical genetics lab he designed, programmed and maintained a Macintosh patient database and was responsible for training the staff in it’s use. He has been actively involved in education and outreach initiatives at the UofM, training students, post docs and professors in the use of computers and software.
Rod is a ‘people’ person with a wide range of interests. He is a Macintosh devotee who enjoys sharing experience and knowledge with others. He has a B.S. in Genetics and Cell Biology from the University of Minnesota but began his studies in Film Graphics and Animation at California Institute of the Arts. He is a trainer in a Thai boxing fitness class and studies guitar in his spare time.
