Ever want to turn a document into a PDF file? Here is a quick and easy way to turn just about any file into a PDF and it is FREE.
Have you ever wanted to share a document with someone who doesn't have the same software as you. Or, maybe you wanted to share a document with someone but you want it to be unchangeable. The PDF file format is a great solution to both of these senarios. Almost every computer can open a PDF file now, and if they can't all they need is the free Adobe Reader from http://www.adobe.com to open a PDF file.
Here's how to make just about any file into a PDF:
Download and install CutePDF Writer:
Download CutePDF Writer from:
http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
Click on the Free Download on the left.
Save the CuteWriter.exe file to your computer
Once the download has finished open CuteWriter.exe
Click run if this window pops up:

Click Next:

Click Accept and then click Next:

If you do not want the Ask toolbar, homepage, and default search engine uncheck all the boxes:

Click Install:

Once installed you will have an additional Printer to choose from. All you need to do is print the file you want converted to a PDF and choose the Cute PDF Printer. A window will popup after you told the document to print to the Cute PDF Printer asking for a name and location to save the PDF file.
Select File --> Print:

From the printer list select CutePDF Writer and click OK or Print depending on your setup:

This window will popup asking for a location to save the newly created PDF file:

That's it!
Happy Computing,
Brad
